Maybe this is only my German perspective, but I don’t consider this gesture appropriate for a public blog (even if the guy doing it is naked).
Must. Have. The. Story!
Clarissa, I don’t think he’s doing that particular gesture. That’s very frowned upon in pretty much every other part of the world also. I think he’s extending his arm as part of a dance move and it happens to look that way unfortunately.
Clarissa, he’s not doing a salute to Hitler, he’s just dancing.
WTF?! IS that the groom?
Definitely a crazy moment and I’d love to see the whole wedding because Fer is awesome, but nothing about this photo clearly says *wedding*. It could have been anywhere and I think you missed the mark with posting this one as a wedding moment.
@Tiffany I disagree! The hat clearly says occasion, and I think MomentJunkie is about finding those little moments within a wedding, that may or may not reference what you’d expect from a ‘standard’ wedding, but which show something of what actually happened. That’s why it’s sifting of pictures throws up stuff different to other blogs.
I think it’s a great pic. Some wantonness yet such intention!
@Tiffany: As I recall, Fer sent us a direct message with it. I said “Submit it. I want to see Kyle’s face when she sees it.” As Beth points out, the hat does sort of say occasion, but there isn’t anything obvious and wedding-y. Still, I think the strong point is that Fer was ready to make this dramatic frame when the groom’s brother came out.
Hahaha, now that’s a wedding throw down.
